Our Story
Synchronous Science was founded on a simple belief: science and engineering are at their best when they help people make better decisions in the real world. After years in academia and industry, we realised that our skills could make the biggest difference in the SME and defence sectors, working directly with leaders, operators, and innovators to solve problems that really matter.
We are driven by curiosity. Like Lieutenant Columbo, we begin by asking questions, sometimes obvious ones, sometimes unusual ones, that bring overlooked details into focus. That investigative approach helps us uncover hidden risks, challenge assumptions, and find solutions that stand up to real-world testing.

Expertise and Experience
Our director holds a PhD in Optoelectronics, an MSc (with distinction) in Communication Systems Engineering, and a BSc in Mathematics. He is a member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), the Institute of Physics (IOP), and the Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications (IMA).
Synchronous Science is also a corporate member of ADS Group, Team Defence Information, and is a registered JOSCAR supplier.
